About

Salik is Dubai’s exclusive road toll operator under a concession with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Its barrier-free network uses passive RFID tags together with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) at ten automatic toll gates; roadside transactions are processed by a central back-office platform and charged to customer accounts. Two additional gates opened in November 2024 and variable pricing was introduced in 2025.
