Dubai Salik road toll
Operational
Overview
Dubai’s barrier-free road toll system, launched in July 2007 and operated by Salik under a long-term concession from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Vehicles pass through automated toll gates without stopping. RFID windscreen tags are the primary account identifier and ANPR is used as a complementary vehicle-identification and enforcement channel. The network has ten toll gates following the opening of Business Bay Crossing and Al Safa South in November 2024; variable pricing began in 2025.
