Q-Free is a Norwegian intelligent transportation systems company founded in Trondheim, with tolling as a core activity alongside traffic management. It supplies roadside free-flow toll stations, DSRC transponders and plate recognition for AutoPASS-compliant schemes in Norway, and has delivered tolling system upgrades in Australia. In July 2026 Norwegian toll operator Ferde selected Q-Free to replace, own and operate the roadside tolling infrastructure at six stations in western Norway.
