About

Movyon is the technology company of the Autostrade per l’Italia group, formerly Autostrade Tech, renamed in 2021. Its multi-lane free-flow system combines neural-network plate reading front and rear, antennas reading DSRC or RFID on-board units, laser-based vehicle classification with axle counting and video tracking around compact gantries, feeding a central toll calculation platform. Movyon reports free-flow implementations in Italy, Chile and Argentina, alongside traffic management and infrastructure monitoring systems.
