Egis is a French engineering, consulting and infrastructure operations group present in more than 70 countries. In tolling it acts mainly as operator and adviser: it oversees tolling operations and toll revenue management at the Dublin Tunnel in Ireland, which it has run since 2006, and supplied toll equipment and handles toll collection on Uganda’s Kampala–Entebbe Expressway. Its road operation activities also cover tunnels, traffic control centres and motorway maintenance.
